Of the $1.4 trillion in total multifamily debt, about $116 billion will mature by the end of 2027 and $250 billion by 2028. Roughly 8% of all loans show a DSCR below 0.6 or an LTV above 85%.
Of the market-rate loans ($949 billion):
- 30% have a DSCR below 1.0
- 16% are below 0.8
- Only 52% are above 1.2
